I've been playing for 10 years now.....getting too old for this sh!t, lol

GOing to have to eventually move into the dirt.....my body is starting to break down running a 3 man OF.

I'll ask around. I play U-Trip and am using the Miken DC-41... Holy shit, it's hot.

Softball and Bowling is basically what I do now. I was in LC, but moved to 3B this year. Flashing the leather, boys.

Yup.......protects the pitcher. As long as you have guys that cover the ground out there, generally you'll be ok.

Been playing this activity for over 10 years. The ball is bigger than a baseball and being thrown underhand... a lot of whiners that could never cut it in baseball.

Or you grew up playing baseball, and transitioned to softball as an adult because it's difficult as hell to find an adult baseball league??

I'll never forget the miken ultra II

I could hit for power or push the runners along, but then i started hitting bombs, and so did everyone else...i haven't played since the freak was the best bat around. Been a while....but i miss it

Softball and bowling for me now as well, mainly played basketball and baseball when I was growing up

Kind of. There's the league player and the tourney player. It takes limited practice to be semi decent and play an hour long softball game where pitcher is throwing less than 10mph underhand and the out of shape sweathog at bat is arguing balls and strikes and the height and hump on the pitch. Tourney ball is lil better, but time consuming.

There's an adult baseball league around here, the age difference and the difference in talent from the top 10% of the league compared to bottom 10% of the league is huge.

Just talked to my bat guy, he said the Miken Freak Platinum, Demarini Raw Steel, Miken DC 41 SuperMax or the Easton Helmer if you're looking to go cheaper. He really likes the Freak Platinum, though.

I play TUE night in a competitive league and also tourney ball. We have an over 40 baseball league in my area, I'm only 30...

And dude nobody is arguing that you need to be a physical specimen and crazy good athlete to play. There is something really awesome about playing softball with buddies and having a few drinks at the park.

Mma nick if i remember ur a michigan guy,im from ohio played in alot of big tournys at the complex in sterling heights,we won nationals up there.

I'm a LH hitter. Can swing for the fence when need be, but I hit it foul line to foul line. Sometimes I'll ask the ump where he wants me to hit it lol

Ive played in several National Tournaments up there and a couple Major tournaments years ago. I think this place closed kid of recently, didnt it?

They have a compression tester at all the tournaments I play locally, and that at least keeps the shaved stuff from getting into the games.
