Wonder if a Atlantic City Casino will run a NFL Super Contest ?
Like the Westgate in Las Vegas
would attract more people and could jump start their sports gambling

Pure incompetence if they don't. I'd guess borgata or nugget. Maybe both.

Maybe the Vegas contest could be available online as long as your state makes it legal.

there was talk about this last year.
I believe it was you need to sign up in person, but can make your picks online.
guess that would put a dent in the proxy services.
But I like your idea much better

Yes you can't compare the two. But with the extra money they will be racking in, Maybe, just maybe they will fix it up like they were suppose to do way back when.
just think for the past few years you could have bought some nice realestate property for cheap around there.
they were dying over there.

This legalization will be OK long term but people of been betting on sports for the last 100 years
It’s going to take a very long time to get on a national level in the United States instead of what it will be for five years very very regional

I'm just wondering where the Borgata would put a sportsbook? There must be a spot back near the Poker Room/ Race Book section they can build a nice room to hang and watch the games. Maybe on another level?

AC does not have the room for a sportsbook
They need the space for the real money makers rooms, food, clubs, casino
All will be real small not remotely close to Vegas Books

plenty of room in that place, could take out the useless slot section across from the racebook and make that entire area the book section
plus you have that entrance right there that would be perfect for people that only wanted to go to the book/poker
cant really picture picture a spot at the nugget or harrahs without some major reno

I was told eventually they intend to run state wide contests once books have established themselves over time, for example the Westgate Superbook intends to brand themselves and transfer to other states and continue the process including state run contests

Borgata used to run an NFL contest a few years ago before sportsbetting was even legalized. They has these kiosks you’d go to and submit picks. Have not heard anything since then.
