Seems like a strange guy to go about cheating. He's likely on his last contract ever, which means he's not going to get paid anymore money. Now he's out almost $12 million and unlikely to make it to Cooperstown.

What's the upside?

you can get high blood pressure from your diet. people of color e.g. hispanics,asians and blacks get it. also furesomide is more common than you realize. It is a diuretic that is used for people retaining water. If you have congenital heart failure, or even retaining water. I wrote this script down at least a 1000 time when i did my job. It is prescribed more than people would believe. Even seemed it was the drug that dr.'s loved to prescribe in cincy to help people with hbp or to lose weight. I had a dr. try to proscribe it to me at methodist hospital in htn. (where barb and president bush went) and I refused it because i have had a few customers that were on this end up dying.

Ive listened to him before, he's a known liar also. Caught slipping how, if he's taking a masking agent wouldnt that masking agent show up before? Would you need something to mask the masking agent if so what masks that, where does the masking end lol.

Guy is an idiot. Even if it was for a legit reason, players who require prescription medication can still use it with a "Therapeutic Use Exemption" granted by the MLB. Guy has no excuse.

Cano was tested, then after a certain amount of days/weeks, he was re-tested and that's how the league comes to the conclusion he was indeed using it to mask a PED use

bottom line, the Furosemide / Lasix is a banned substance. Player would need to double-check before putting it in his body, even if for some legit reason he might have wanted to use it.

Cano has 5-years remaining on his contract. 80-game suspension.

I just got done reading an article at Miguel Cabrera from the Detroit Tigers who is really upset
Cabrera goes on to blame the fault of a Dominican doctor. He says that if he went to a Dominican doctor, he could of had the same thing happen to him. Cabrera goes on to say that he lives in Miami in the offseason, so he sees an American doctor whenever he gets sick, so that's why he doesn't have this happen to him.

If Cano had already been warned about this, and he repeated to use this medication when there was already other alternative medications he could have used, then he is definitely guilty as hell.
But if it's a first-time mistake and he didn't know what his doctor was prescribing to him was going to make him test hot, then it shouldn't be his fault. Right?
However, in my opinion, I got a feeling he got his hand caught in the cookie jar with this one. I think he's guilty.

They should start selling at the trade deadline and they should start to rebuild
They should find a way to trade away Robinson Cano and eat some of his contract up
They certainly can't contend with Houston running rough shot in the AL West, or even with Anaheim going through a resurgence.

He was by far the best player.
But every fukkin` day he wakes up to Sportscenter/Sports pages to see Sosa/Big Mac in the head lines.
Every team, GM, MLB Exec knew what was going on, but the ratings were up, so they turned a blind eye and collected their $$$$.

Robby always a me first kinda guy, so this doesn`t really surprise me.
