#8Laker, I think it's a really tough handicap. Two teams that got here via the underdog route.
East is very hard to think thru this year. In reality, Cavs vs Celtics is a hard final to believe.
So many teams that SHOULD have or COULD have been here:
* Pacers. So close to breaking thru in Round 1.
* Raptors. Christ, if not this year, when?
* Bucks. In some ways, this was a great chance to get to Eastern finals. Need one more key player.
* Sixers. East is only going to get stronger next year, via Free Agency and Injured players returning.Where's the fuckin power box, Carol?Comment -

#10Something tells me that Stevens finds a way to get the Celtics to a matchup with the Warriors. Cavs/GSW has to end somehow. Right?!Comment -

#11You don't know how Lakerboy thinks.
What you suggested....he will not do.
He is more of a fan, or should I say an anti-fan...than a gambler.
Within the next few days you'll see some threads popping up, written by him, calling for Lebron's demise.
He will have wagers on Celtic series, and bet them every game along the way.Comment -

#21Cavs in 5 max. they'll want to get things done quickly as that's they only way they 'might' be able to win a game vs State. Rockets might force a game 6, but GSW with Curry & KD is unfair. Those two could avg 30 if they wanted...Comment -

#27As a lifelong Celtic/Boston guy, I am hugely happy with what they have accomplished already.
Now, I would love for them to give the Cavs a ton of trouble, but not sure if I want them to win series.
Lambs to slaughter comes to mind.
Will probably bet them @ home, fade them away.Comment -

#29TD Garden fans had their main dish already.. nothing left but scraps now..
LeBron can't be stopped by anyone on the C's roster.. and there are size/strength
advantages in other positions as well. If it were not for some luck and the home crowd,
Embiid not being 100% with his mask, Celtics would have lost to this Sixers team..
I think Boston would have lost to the Raptors also.. without HC adv.
HC adv won't help them much against Cleveland. It's been a great year for Celtics
and hopefully next year they win the Conference.Comment -

#31should be a good series. things seem to just happen for stevens his entire career, maybe bron will get hurt and celts cruise afterwards other than that... how nice it would have been had kyrie not gotten injured, him against lebron, the bs media would have played that up big time. many thinking prob that cavs prob steal 1 of the first 2 in boston, but what if they dont, now quite a bit of pressure on cavs to maintain home court. in the end Id guess cavs pull this one out too. on a side note why dont defenders force james left every time, surely youll fair better.Comment -
