Heading to Nashville in a few weeks for a few days as well. Hoping the Preds make the Cup finals and I will post some vids from the game. Also looking for recommendations. Staying at the Gaylord Opryland so it's not close to the action.

Last time I was in Nashville (about 4 years ago) I stayed at a Hilton all suite hotel in Brentwood which is around 15-20 minutes south of Bridgestone. If you have a car (and don't mind staying a bit away from downtown), I highly recommend the hotel and the area which was quiet and seemed safe if that's your main concern (assuming the area is the same).

Brentwood and Franklin, south of Nashville, are the safest areas closest to town. The money is plentiful there.

Tour: the Ryman (downtown)
Mexican: bar taco or saint anejo
Sightseeing/workout- The Parthenon
Dessert: No baked and Mike’s of course
Bars: midtown- hopsmith , downtown- tootsie’s , whiskey row, The Underground - basically any rooftop you see
Steak house - Merchants , Urban Grub, Kayne Prime
Sushi - virago
Hotel - the Westin, Thompson,Cambria. The courtyard downtown is nice
