But he's your Brother and you are in a Jam
Just tell him to throw a few over the plate with a little less zing, or a INT on your own 20 yard line

Only if there is a huge parlay involved that would pay hundreds of thousands and it was the last leg.
And he would also have to play for a shytty DII/DIII team. Not risking his draft stock in DIV I and if he's a MLB pitcher/NFL QB, there would be no point in asking him to throw a game. Family is already set for life. The parlay payout is peanuts compared to what he's making.

what about if he was a Pro rookie, 4th or 5th rounder making only $625,000 and he was put into a game
maybe the game on the line, and you are looking at a $200,000 payout on the back end of a 10 team parlay

Isn't this what winds up causing these athletes to go broke...
...the family, the posse, the hometown tribute.

If my bookie has a problem with me not paying, just tell him there's a lot of a holes in the desert and that a lot of my previous problems are buried in those holes.

Why would I do that? If he was a 4th or 5th rounder being put on the field with game was on the line, he finally has his chance to shine in front of the entire country to show what he can do. He screws up, he may not have another chance.
Millions are potentially on the line.

So you expect the guy to intentionally piss away his (maybe only) chance to prove himself? No way that happens.
