Agreed. Just watched the first one again recently and the wife said "why in the world are we watching this" She wasn't too thrilled with it. Some of it was corny, but still enjoyed it. This one looks like a complete hit or miss, could be way to over the top with trying to hard for the gore.

Best "newish" horror movie I've seen was the Collector (still 10 years old)

They're on like their 3rd actor to play pinhead. Doug Bradley was the best pinhead IMO
