If I'd have gotten to games overnight I would have played scrubbies around +110. Value pretty much been sucked dry now tho.. Molina being out has negative impact on pitching staff, Pham being out really hurts the offense at top of lineup as he been our most productive bat since being called up last year... lot of Cubs have hit wacha pretty hard, Lester w excellent career numbers vs cards and at Busch, I do think cards ops vs lefties is gonna start climbing as doesn't make a lot of sense this righty stacked lineup ops ranks 21st in majors.. Wacha era a little deceiving imo. His k/walk ratio worst it been in his career. Lowest k per 9 and highest walks per 9. His strand rate and babip lowest either been in 3 years, his ground ball rate lowest of his career yet his home runs are down which doesn't seem like something that will keep up. All these things screaming era regression and in comes the Cubs who have 6 guys in lineup that own a ops better than .900 against him, last year in 4 starts his best performance against Chicago was a 5.2 inning 3 run job where he walked 5 guys! 3 other starts he allowed 5 or more. Cubs are slumping with worst ops in majors the last 7 days but they kinda broke thru w 12 hits yesterday and this matchup is ripe for them to put up a large number imo.. it baseball tho so who knows?
