When Jordan left to play baseball the bulls were still one of best teams in the league who went deep into playoffs. When bron left cavs turned into one of worst teams in the league. why can't he make late game free throws like it's routine? missing those freebies opened up the door for Tor even more after the refs helped them cut it down to a 2 score deficit before backing off

They were a legitimate deep playoff team, which a lot easier to bring to the promised land than a group of scrubs who can't sniff the playoffs!!

I'm really not trying to make the argument for either or. Jordan was so different and so much better than anything We ever saw. I question how willing Bron's resolve would have been if he ever had to face the physical defenses that put a beating on Jordan (legally! Lol), I mean just no hand checking alone makes going to the rack sooo much easier now days than it was in Jordan's time! On other hand Jordan didn't have to face teams that a bunch of free agents got together to beat him.. eras are so damn different it makes comparing practically impossible imo, hell their games are so much different as well. Bron way more similar to magic on roids than Jordan or Kobe!

I grew up w Jordan, much preferred NBA back then as I'm a physical defense kind of guy! I just get fed up w the bron hate, something Jordan never got! And the argument bron loses in finals to me doesn't mean much, Jordan never had to face golden state and never took a bottom 5 team without him into battle.. Jordan did have to face way tougher defenses without rules geared to making offensive players life easy!! I have no doubt Jordan could easily avg 40+ a game in today's NBA.

I appreciate what both have brought to the game and consider myself fortunate to have gotten to see both!!

I was never one to label anyone the Goat,it's impossible to know who would win,labeling a player greatest of their time,thats fair enough.

I remember a time when Jordan was looked at as invincible,James is fresh in everyone's minds,one of these days,their will be a new guy that will come along and be compared to those two guys and will be having this same debate.
