Have you seen any of his at bats lately? He just rips on everything. They pitch him inside and he just smokes a lot of them foul - cannot keep them fair.

Jack Clark accused Pujols of being on roids and then later backed away from the comment. Other than that I don't think Pujols has been accused or come up in any reports as being a user. Until someone shows me evidence that would lead me to believe he used I'll give him the benefit of the doubt.

Exactly. He'll sign with the Yankees in a few years and win some rings.

Probably. He was incredible for 10 years in stl. If it wasn’t for bonds juicing Albert would have a handful of mvps!

No he won’t. Halos not exactly small market and they spend money like the big boys. They will get 1 in his career. Just need to fix the pitching and with their willingness to spend no reason they can’t. Tough damn division tho, trout not a bitch like Kevin Durant, he will win one with the team he playing whole career for!

Everyone and their mom were juicing for the past 20 years. I doubt you could fill a full lineup with all stars that weren't on something illegal. You don't have to catch most of these guys red handed. All you have to do is look at before and after pics in a few years time to know. I am sorry but simply working out isn't going to make a guy swell up like most of these guys in all these sports. That was how the game was for a long time. MLB didn't do shit about it until recently so if I had to go with a guess I would say most likely. It is no coincidence that in recent years, as MLB has stepped up the process on catching cheaters, you see so many players that were monsters completely go to shit quickly.

Albert Pujols is 1 RBI shy of tying the Sultan of Swat...the King of Crash...the Colossus of Clout...for 5th on the all-time list with 1,992 (RBI became official in 1920).

                                    Interesting

How did they create stats for Ruth, Cobb, Speaker, Lajoie, etc prior???

Did someone reread old clippings to create stats pre 20?

All the best players of the last 30ish years did some performance enhancer or another. No biggie.

I'm sure he did performance enhancing drugs at one point during his career. During the steroid era almost everybody was doing them so I don't think it's out of the question Pujols was doing HGH or something along those lines.

Plus he came out of nowhere! I don’t think he was any kind of huge prospect or anything was he?
