Even in their last loss, the Rockets are able to score so many easy baskets and create open looks from behind the 3 pt line. Jazz have not had issues hitting the century mark at home--bench tends to get a little push at home and Salt Lake City will be rocking. Rockets should continue to use tempo to reduce Gobert's effectiveness. Just my initial read on the game--any one able to make a case for the under?

Maybe you've waited long enough, the public has pushed the line from an opening of 207 all the way to 208.5 right now..... if the line moves to 209 then I think the under is a no-brainer.

One thing that made me hesitant to pull the trigger on the total for the whole game is Harden's ability to get key Jazz players in foul trouble--if he attacks Mitchell, like last game, it could spell major troubles in the second half. Also, and as much as I like the Jazz, their ability to close out a tight game in the fourth quarter may result in slow, poorly executed offense.

Your analysis maybe half right, because during that poorly executed fourth-quarter there may be several turnovers that will lead to points and also fouls at the end of the game will stop the clock and certainly add extra points to the total.

In my mind's eye, I see so many scenarios for a lower scoring second half...we will see, locked in 105 earlier through CRIS. Moved to 105.5 and the total moved to 208.5 (was 208 at the time 105 was offered). If I hit the over first half, I am going to be tempted to risk half of the win on the under second half if it's higher than 103-104. GL, Jay. Always fun to make a line in the sand and put money behind it.

I don’t think it’ll be a blowout—that’s just one of the scenarios where the under could hit imho. How do you see the Jazz stopping Harden and Paul? Describe the defensive scheme.

Jazz can’t slow it down too much because outside of Mitchell, they have a hard time finding a player that can create offense/generate offense for others.
