The Raptors have one of the best defenses in the NBA. They held GSW and Houston to low numbers when they played them in the regular season and over the last 3 years. Lebron just finds ways to kill this defense. You double him and he finds open shooters. You play him one on one and he kills you in so many ways. He can slash past you for dunks, he can shoot the 3 and now, he's hitting high fukking arc shots that Wilt couldn't block. When they get focus and when Tyron Lue get's his head out of his ass, this team is incredibly hard to beat.

Me too. Anyone can say whatever they want, I'll stick w I find it impossible to compare. Defense was much tougher when Jordan played, now the rules all geared to it being incredibly easy for the offensive player so how can anyone really say? Not to mention they just very different players. I'm good with knowing I saw the best 2 players probably ever, I have no desire to order them.

I use to see Jordan play in person back in the day. He was just a different player than Lebron. Jordan was possessed. He was intent on winning. Lebron is more calculating, he'll rest/take off plays in order to have something left in the tank later. I tell my kids that Jordan is still the greatest but Lebron is quickly approaching. Jordan didn't have the 3 pointer, nor this mid range fade away but Lebron didn't dunk in traffic like Jordan would on 2 or 3 guys. I'm starting to change my opinion and say that Jordan and Lebron are 1a and 1b. 2 transcendent guys of which we may never ever see again. Both guys did thing that I came away saying... WTF? How the hell did he do that?

I think it demeans either one of them to put either down. They both are the greatest, no doubt.

Not tonight they didn't.. I saw a lack of effort from the Raptors.. They weren't swarming at all..

They were flat footed because they were indecisive. Lebron causes you to make decisions and he kills you for it. As soon as you commit, he finds the right play. Then you get frustrated. What you saw was a frustrated Toronto team. We've seen it the last 3 years. Cleveland is a BAD matchup for them and it starts and ends with Lebron.

2dabank - you admit that you don't watch the NBA much or follow the numbers. BUT if you did, you would see that Houston's defense is fukking legit. They all smother to the ball, do not allow 3 pointers and it is difficult to get anything in the paint. Can they sustain it in the playoffs.

Not anymore, used to. I've seen enough of harden to have serious doubts a team he on playing tough defense. Same goes for their coach, I did watch back when that clown was coaching other teams. Nobody really plays good defense anymore, they not allowed to. League is crap now, why I don't watch much outside playoffs.
