A lot of people don't know this but I actually met the Giant on one of my Vegas trips. He asked me not to post about it in the forms ever, but enough time has passed I'm sure he wouldn't mind if I share this story. As we were checking into the Luxor Hotel he promised that he would use his comps to get us a room with two beds of course. The girl at the front desk informed us that all they had left were rooms with King beds. The giant didn't fight this very much, in fact he brushed it off by saying, we could get a cot brought up to the room. I started to get a little weary of The Giant's intentions & I decided to put my foot down, I said "I'll just get my own room."
The Giant quickly pulled out his mlife card in his identification and told the girl to hurry up and put the room through, then the giant quickly called my bluff and said, " Look Jay, I know you don't have enough money to get your own room so you're kind of stuck with me tonight."
Anyway I don't want to get into details about what happened that weekend but, if you're wondering why I brought this story up, it's because as the giant pulled out his California identification I noticed that it said he was born in 1961.

Sometimes you have to take a step back. I took a year (mostly) off poker because I lost my love for the game. Now I'm riding high on the leaderboard and not even really trying.
We all need to rekindle the fire and come out from under the pile occasionally.
I find hookers, blow and bourbon to be the most therapeutic.Comment -
