At 2nd I'd be tempted to take Shaq.
He dominated against other great centers during his career.
Imagine what he'd do today in a league absent of solid centers.

Tim Duncan.
But seriously...depends on who the number #2 star is.
If its somebody who doesn't mind being #2, Jordan. Otherwise, Lebron.

If you did an anonymous poll of today's players and asked if they fear LeBron more then 50% would say hell no.

All you guys that think Lebron's garbage are hilarious. He would dominate Jordan so bad if they played peak-vs-peak it wouldn't even be funny.

Jordon would average fitty with todays rules.
Anyone who thinks he wouldn`t have developed a consistent 3 is delusional.
This wouldn`t even be a discussion if he didn`t take the bases hiatus. 8 in a row.
Not to take away how great LeBron is, but MJ was an assassin and possibly the most competitive person in the history of the world.

I would take Shaq second and Jordan third. In Jordan's era, I take Jordan--so many guys lacked athleticism and he was ahead of the game..not in today's game though.

They had to bench Shaq late in games because he couldn’t shoot free throws

Jordan's position is the most competitive in today's game and the players are heaps more athletic. Do you disagree? According to Jordan, Joe Dumars was the toughest defender he faced.

This is a strike against Lebron, but also sort of impressive. Jordan and Shaq were coachable. They fell into Jackson's systems and players knew their roles and has clear expectations. Team were well-oiled machines. Lebron is not coachable and would be more than a handful to deal with--never had a father figure in his life and it shows, though it is impressive that he has never got in trouble with the law or done anything too disastrous outside of "The Decision." If Lebron wins, he does it on his own--uses the pieces as he sees fit, etc. He's made his career harder than it should be.

No I didn't. I just didn't include him because he would have been the least picked.
