2001 Semifinals Toronto vs Philadelphia was an epic 7 game series. VC vs AI. Iverson dropping 54 points one game then Carter putting up 50 the next game. Game 7 was one of the most nail biting games in NBA history. Carter, Antonio Davis, Charles Oaklee, Dale Curry on Toronto vs AI and Mutumbo. Carter with the last second miss ended up losing by 1 point is probably the toughest loss in Raptor history, up to now. That Toronto team had a bright future back then.

The Cav's are contesting his shot and making it very difficult for him. Now, Casey benched him which was pretty stupid. I don't blame Casey for doing that to be honest,it just wasn't working out with DeRozan,like you said the Cavs were able to control him.

They managed to chip away at that huge deficit with the second unit,the way DeRozan was playing could they have pulled that off,I don't see it.

Sure, they chipped away at the lead but in the long run, they didn't have the horses to close out that game. Then you put doubt into your star player that you MUST have in order to win this series and you basically conceded defeat. Derozan gets a flagrant 2 and is gone tonight.

Hockey normally has several lines, where guys take breaks and it's 6 players on the ice but the goalie can equalize the game. Soccer has 11 guys but stars can kinda dominate the game in spurts as well. Football can be dominated at the QB position but very difficult at other positions. Basketball can have 1 or 2 players play the entire game, which means they can impact the game for longer periods and there's less players on the court. It doesn't make it not a true sport. Tennis and Golf are true sports, even though it's an individual game.

GSW is a super team with quality players at all 5 positions, 2 deep. Cav's have solid players despite what the media tries to feed you. Kyrie, Love and Lebron was the big 3. 3 All Stars that won a ring for the city. Guys like JR, TT, Delly, Frye, Jefferson, Shump were good roll players. Basketball is a great team sport. You have to have the superstars but you also have to have guys that can do the dirty work, which you are overlooking.
