Pete loves horseracing. I saw him years ago, when I lived in Vegas, at a dive casino west of the strip named Arizona Charlies. He was sitting in the racebook by himself betting ponies watching the big screen intently. many times. he used to go to bar in frogtown ohio .But he never drank. Gambled at latonia downs. He came into a bar I was at while getting his corvette fixed. Buddy the guys i hung out with were connected.i hung out on the west side of cincy at place called price hill chili. Mike mathis the basketball ref ate there all the time. zimmer and pete ate there when they were on the west side. I knew before they died the youngest and 4 youngest players in the mlb. When i was in college i used to work the reds rally. One of my dad's cousins ran marge schotts garage at her dealership. He got me a job parking cars at her reds rally.
