Artists touch people in ways that connect to them, it's always happened.

I always lol at people who envy others who ‘has a hot girlfriend’, maybe you’ve never had a hot gf... recommend you stop putting pusssy on the pedestal. Yes he was successful and rich. Doesn’t mean he was happy or satisfied with life.
People have demons in them that others may never know.

my best friend dated him for a little over a year.. for the most part he was a cool dude but was always really unhealthy ..
This chick loves to eat out and is what you would consider a foodie.. one thing she would always tell me is all he likes to eat is McDonalds.. imagine.. you are flying around the world on a jet with a guy who is basically a club god... you absolutely love food.. and you are always getting dragged to McDonalds.. That always stayed in my mind..

I met him a handful of times and he played our venue several times here on the beach.. I was also there when he Canceled his show during Music Week / WMC .. That week was basically the end of his touring career for the most part... the SLS Hotel / SBE Group had basically put all their eggs into one basket and created the Avicii Hotel.. guest stayed there to watch him play and see his mug everywhere.. Down the street next to Lincoln Rd.. they had created an Avicii store full of bullshit with his mug and name all over it.. He even had an ice cream truck running around town playing his shit and giving away free ice cream.. All this was going on.. All this money was invested into this one guy.. and he was nowhere to be found..

I knew then he was really sick.. I have seen what the lifestyle had done to many in the industry at all levels.. at this point he was 800+ gigs in and being a sick kid on top of the lifestyle it was never going to work. Throw in the fact that everyone around him was pushing him to do gigs and didn't understand why he didn't want to tour anymore.. was basically a recipe for disaster

It is sad what happened to him.. he was one of the few dudes in that industry that wasn't a complete piece of shit.. 28 is a crazy number when it comes to music ..
