Look to back dogs in bad weather. Preferably when the soccer pitch is bad.

Bad pitch evens the odds a bit for teams who are dogs cause of lower soccer skills. It becomes more of a physical game.

Though bad soccer fields are rare in 2018 soccer. All rich clubs now + artificial grass times. Different back in the day.
