    I've had it in Mexico. They call them chapulines. It wasn't bad. Put enough salt and sauce on a cockroach and cook it up, it'll probably taste the same though.

              Not mine either. They're not bad just crunchy as fukk, and juicy. Weird as hell. They don't taste bad and in the wild if I had to survive I'd hunt them down but I won't be eating them many more times

                Never tried them in Seattle, but I used to eat them (chapulines) while living in Oaxaca City.
                I liked to eat them like a taco, in a tortilla with a secret grasshopper sauce from
                the lady on the zocalo. Crunchy, nutty, salty and a hint of hoppy.
