statistically, the swinging and missing of judge/stanton pays off with the amount of HR's as opposed to have someone like Pedroia who will single and double you to death and bring in half as many rbi's

I actually think they more suited to have success vs good pitchers and more likely to struggle at times w mediocre ones. Not often you gonna string a bunch of hits together vs the sale types, better off swinging for fences and connecting on a few imo.
