It's his demeanor toward others and also fans that attend the tournaments

Playing devil's advocate, why does that make her a scumbag? For all we know, she was doing him a favor and removing what could have been a major distraction to him since it seems he's wanted nothing to do with them long before the U.S. Open. Why did they go to the tournament when it appears he's made it clear to them he wants nothing to do with them?

If he wants nothing to do with his family, its his right to not want to associate with them.

I say throw Mom and Dad a bone and at least let them come out and watch you play. His Dad is the only reason he even took up the game. His parents carted him all across Texas and the southwest taking lessons and playing tourneys when he was a kid, honing his game. They deserve some respect. Whatever the reason, it's pretty harsh what he's doing imo...

Reed has had speedbumps along the journey to the Green Jacket.
Tossed from U Ga and no one from Augusta St has a kind word about him.

To me he has redeemed himself by going to the Rio Olympics when everyon else was quivering about Zika fever.
Impressed with him becoming Captain America at the Ryder Cup.

Reed is one hell of a golfer and he may be around for a long time...like jjgold at SBR.

But do we know if he even knew they were there....I mean just to watch there son, i doubt the parents had any thoughts of speaking to him in that enviroment......And on the 18th hole seems like a mean thing to do..

And that's a big assumption that they had no interest in speaking to him. You're telling me they didn't have any intention of making ANY contact with him even after the 18th? Why go at all then when you can watch on T.V.? Telling me they just wanted to see him play but had no interest in trying to make contact at all screams bull**** to me. They knew he has no interest in them and surprising him at a golf tournament is not going to help relations.We're only getting one side of the story, (his parents) and it seems people can't comprehend that there's a chance their side is maybe a little more rose colored than it is.

Kobe's parents even auctioned off his childhood keepsakes...Just to piss off Kobe. They really hate each other. But Kobe seems to be fine without them in his life. And it certainly hasn't caused Kobe to have less fans.

That's why I don't think people will even care about this story involving Reed.
