How can he be a fav over grienke? That my simplest answer but I think most accurate. Then throw in he terrible once he gets to 3rd time thru order so he can only go 5-6 innings which leaves matheny making potentially stupid desicions for 3-4 innings for which zona once again will have advatage during that time. Line seems ass backwards to me once again, same as home opener.

I dunno, I feel so dumb for passing game 1, when that happens kinda fuks w my mojo on a whole series. Hate when I do that and know I just did so not wanting to root against cards in home opener! Lol. Now I don't care it just another game so I might pull trigger. I gotta look at what sundays pitching matchup is cause pretty confident cards won't get swept at home just cause they better team than that (I think). If we have favorable Sunday matchup I'll prob pull trigger on zona here.

teams don't really have to tank in NHL because the percentage chance of which team gets the number one pick via draft lottery doesn't increase all that much. The worst teams have not won the first pick in recent years. Some teams just play bad.

NHL is highly fluid

NYR/PHI Over 6: PHI has to win to clinch a spot in the playoffs and the Rangers skate well but very young and inexperienced on the defensive side so expect them to not be as sharp on the defense but to be decent offensively.

OTT/BOS: BOS PL/ML Under 6: OTT is just terrible. Plus a back to back spells trouble for them. They play their second string goalie tonight and BOS loves to be back home after going 0-3-2 on the road trip. Bruins big time.

CHI/WPG Under 6: Can honestly see CHI winning this game if WPG sits out people. Even so, I think WPG will take it easy and CHI is just depleted right now. 3-2 is my call

MTL/TOR Under 6

BUF/FLA FLA ML/PL Under 6: Even though FLA in all likelihood is not going to the playoffs they want to give their fans something to cheer about going into the offseason. BUF will likely have a letdown on the offense because they scored 5 last night. FLA is probably my most confident pick.

ARI ML/Under 5.5: Anaheim will likely rest up for the playoffs. Plus much like FLA, ARI has been playing great of as late and wants to send off their home fans something to smile about. Can see this being 3-1 or 3-2. Anaheim will likely have an letdown after scoring 5 last night.

LV/CGY Under 5.5: Under has been trending a lot here lately between the two teams. This one will be likely 3-2 and don't be shocked if CGY wins here due to a lack of motivation from Vegas much like Thursday night.

EDM ML: EDM has owned VAN in EDM lately going 5-2 in the last 7 games between the two at EDM. Also, the Oilers have played very well on Saturdays I have noticed: 3/10 Win vs. Minnesota, 3/17 Win @ Florida, 3/24 Win vs. Los Angeles and within 1 goal last Saturday night @ Calgary.

DAL PL: DAL just got one of their goalies back from injury and even though LA will probably win the game, I expect for Dallas to keep it close here. DAL is 5-1 in the last 6 SU @ Los Angeles.

MIN PL/SJ ML: One goal game. 3-2 San Jose. MIN however is 5-0 vs. SJ in the last 5 meetings so don't count out MIN.

Looks like they increased it a little compared to last year. And outside of the top 3 picks which are determined by lottery draws, it then goes in reverse order of points. Same as NBA.
