Not really. The last 12 champs were top 10 after the first round. If that holds true, you can cross off everyone -2 and worse. With Spieth's dominance of Augusta, it makes perfect sense.

If the trend holds true, yes. Augusta isn't a course where someone goes out and can fire one low round to get back in it. The course record is 63 and has held for over 30 years. Spieth was absolutely on fire yesterday, especially on the back 9 and still couldn't shoot 65. That was with 7 birdies and an eagle. It's going to be breezy and the greens were hard and going to get more dried out. 69 or 70 on moving day is going to be a great score. If Spieth shoots 69 today, there may be only 2-4 people with a reasonable shot to win besides him.
