Sony just bought The Rights for Glory Road 2.
Inspired by the 52 year anniversary of Texas Western going with an all-black starting five, Villanova Coach Jay Wright does the same and benches a white kid: one Donte DiVencenzo. DD buys his time as a good teammate, until the final game where Jay Wright realizes, he would prefer a championship (but still technically starting 5 non-whites) and plays DD for more minutes than anyone else. Much to everyone's surprise DD looks like he is in a different league out there, a real man amongst boys.
In the end, DiVencenzo gets his glory, Jay Wrights wins a another championship and the country learns a valuable lesson: it doesn't matter race you are, what matters is whether or not you can ball.Comment -
