Cashed out in BTC to Coinbase. Took around 3-4 hours. I know, Coinbase. The trick at Coinbase is to use their GDAX trading platform. You would transfer your crypto to GDAX which is free, then sell it on the platform which turns into USD. Then transfer the USD back to Coinbase, free, and withdraw that to you bank account. The actual trade on GDAX is only pennies in fees.

I live in NYC , anything over $3,000 is $50 in fees . You can get free withdrawals but it has to be 3K or less . 10K is the most you can withdraw at any given time , I get the money orders about 3-4 days after I request them.
