had a big chunk on cleveland/hornets under 117.5 first half

after a 48 point first quarter, you'd think you'd be safe, lost it by 1 point on a phantom foul with 10 seconds on the clock, they scored 12 points in the last 87 seconds, 6 of them free throws

also there were 33 free throws in the first half, whats up with that, who is telling these nba execs that its the free throws that draw the big crowds?


also a 69 point quarter in nets game and 2x65 point quarters in knicks game

They play on ice skates nowadays and the shot clock barely ticks before someone is jacking up a shot or ducking their head down and rolling to the rim. Plus all the touchy fouls... Unders are a conundrum.

Late in the season the refs can make some easy money with the overs. non playoff teams, new faces wanting to make a name for themselves, and fast paced ball. Nobody says a thing or notices, the fresh faces love seeing their overblown stats eyeing another 10 day contract, the refs on the over collect easy money and everybody's happy.
