No they were down by 5 with 10 seconds left and they fouled.
FSU is down by 4 with 12 seconds left and they don't foul.

And they hit a 3 and forced an inbound pass. Duke was down 5, not 4. In the FSU game, you hope for 1 miss at the line, a 3. Then something crazy on the inbound pass. Does nobody remember A&M/UNI a few years ago? You force teams to make plays.
