Nationals should have at least tied that score 1-1 while Bryce Harper was on second base and a looper to the outfield he held up on, but shoulda had a better read on it and coulda scored. Anyway no telling what all the other potential outcomes for the game were with the bases loaded in the top 9th and only 1 out....think the stats say a team generally scores 2 runs or more in that scenario.

Nats didn't score at all, and TB won the game by 1-0 score. So by playing the moneyline, dog closing line in the +175 or +180 range. Better payout for the dog outright win.

This goes back to my previous question is how often when you play the +1.5 dog runline, does the favorite win the game by exactly 1 run?

I don’t have the perfect answer for your question.

Like you said, though, Harper should have absolutely scored on the single he inexplicably held up on which makes it a
1-1 game with runners on.

I’m not sure how you wouldn’t want the +1.5 in that situation (and keeping in mind that the best pitcher in baseball over the last few years started the game for the Nats).
