i dont really think its that much of a race thing for cops. i think that the cops who do this type of thing are just looking for ppl who the majority of ppl wont care about. they see a homeless guy, or a mentally ill person, or a criminal and they feel they can be as aggressive as they want towards them and maybe create a situation where they have an excuse to kill them. adding to that you have police forces wanting to militarize everything to an insane degree for some reason.

you have swat teams coming to arrest ppl for making $50 bets at a bar and killing them because they were pointing their gun at them for no reason and "accidentally" pulled the trigger. they raided a guy in my state with a strike force for growing a pot plant in his basement that he only used for personal use and the cops all shot each other and one died and he "hung himself" in jail. he was an army vet and they tried to make him out to be a terrorist by showing a halloween photo of him dressed as bin laden and said that he had bomb making materials (fertilizer).

those same cops later raided someone for meth and killed a different person there because he had a golf club. no one is going to know whats happening when you are yelling police at the same time as you kick in the door when ppl are dead asleep. the cops even came to my house looking for some criminal at like 4am. they had the wrong address and were just banging on my door nonstop not saying they were police. i could have easily been killed if it was the swat team as i picked up a bat when i answered the door.

Considering the disproportionate crime rate, when you see a black male running down the street, yeah, there is a reason why people draw different conclusions.

This is the same reason why people(of all races) have more fear when they see a group of young black youths walking towards them than a group of white youths.

It's not so much racism, but the behavior associated with that race.

Go to Youtube and search something like "Mob Attack". There should be 5X as many videos of White Mobs attacking vs any other race, right? Unfortunately it is the exact opposite, which when based on the population breakdown, this doesn't make any sense.

I meant that it caused it to occur to me that Truth of how automatically an adult here would assume one thing as opposed to another...."black" person running down the street compared to white person running.

Then I landed in that "black" kid's shoes, for a moment sorta caught a glimpse thru his eyes, at the world he's been given.

Discussion needs to occur as to how Trust gets made, between black & white, if progress is gonna occur. Evolution comes as result of Education? Getting Fathers to stay in black homes, kids growing up with dads? Hardcore Eradication Measures taken against Gangs?

It's going to have to come from within that culture. This isn't a problem that white people can fix or would be welcomed if they tried to.

If black people were not perceived to be a threat(which they statistically are based on their population) then they wouldn't be stereotyped as such.

I live basically in the ghetto, and it's no secret where all of the problems are coming from. Almost all of the murders in my town are being committed by blacks(granted, almost all of the victims are also black too) but this just shows the tendency by that race to not care about life in general. I mean, they complain about being the victims of this county's racism and white people are preventing them from getting anywhere, but when you are so quick to take the life of someone of your own race, then how can you be taken seriously?

You are absolutely right. We have 3 trailer parks throughout my city full of white trash bums. No one is routinely killing each other there though. Now the 4 projects areas are a whole other story.
