small write up..would love to elaborate more on matchups/stats if anyone has any thoughts.

This game is going to be a great contrast of styles. Texas A&M has monsters on the inside in Williams, Davis, and Hogg. Don't really see how Wagner holds up against them on the boards and defensively alone down there..Texas A&M personal wise is a top 5 team in the country. We're seeing the team we saw early on in the season before suspensions and injuries hit. Michigan has the pedigree and better coach I will concede. I think this one gets decided on the court by the players, Michigan not as good as last year and the Big Ten obviously wasn't very good. I believe the defensive rating they hold is inflated by the shitty offense in the Big 10. Unless Michigan shoots LIGHTS OUT I really think Texas A&M wins by 8+.

Id be freaking out too with that kind of change on the Aggies. Michigan got their scare last game and could really be on fire today. They will bring those bigs out to guard the 3 as Mich. gonna be playing around the 3 pt line with their many screens and pick and pops. Aggies should still do work down low though on the offensive end, but when getting down 7 to double digits how will they respond. I feel better if Mich. gets down during game those amount of pts than with Aggies.

I don't really like the theory of "getting their scare." Won't have anything to do with what happens when the ball is tipped tonight. Texas A&M lineup is full of monsters. I really think Michigan overachieved this year and are weak. I do think you make a great point talking about them bringing the bigs out on the perimeter. It goes both ways like you said with A&M having a huge advantage in the paint/on the boards.

I don't see this Michigan team as a battle tested rough bunch of Detroit inner city kids. They are soft as is the case for the conference in which they play. Have followed Big 10 for years and it is NOT the physical league it once was.
