Lets not forget kentucky has played 2 mid major teams. k- state is not great but they have higher level athletes than what kentucky has faced.

I think Kentucky covers and wins fairly easily. I know you’ll say I’m a homer but UK is playing their best ball right now and are the best team left in the South region. I will say that I would think about avoiding the side and going with the ml or total but I’m comfortable laying 5.5.

One game always messes with people's minds when a team doesnt look particularly well. I wouldnt stick my neck out on that bet either.

Kentucky can't make jumpshots and 3s worth a sh1t. They can physically dominate teams down low so they haven't had to, but against kstate they will have to make jumpshots. Against Davidson they didn't hit a single 3 pointer. Kstate has a bunch of 20-22 yr old players I think will take it to Kentucky.

Kstate Is also getting back 6'10 dean wade for this one. If Kentucky can't hit long range shots they will lose.

Kentucky only took 6 3's against Davidson. I think it would have been a different story had that number been 20+ and they didn't make any since that would have resulted in a loss. They were 7 for 15 against Buffalo from 3 and that's about where they need to be. They don't rely on the 3 and I think that's a good thing because they still put up 78 without hitting one against Davidson which is pretty tough to do in today's game.

They had 26 made fts though, without that they dont win it seems. Seems strange because Davidson hardly fouls. Cal intimidating the refs?

The 5.5 and 6 is indeed pesky, as jtoler says, it'll be an interesting game. I foresee a close one as well, K St has been physical and can play with them. I might also tease this one and get K State plus 10ish. The side you don't tease here is UK.

Thats my point, Davidson in top 50 for not giving up ft attempts. Like Wisky in title game against Duke in 2nd half, phantom fouls just piled up out of nowhere.
