The money borrowing has been happening from July 2017 to Dec 2017 its been 3 months and the bookie hasn't come after me so was my friend scamming me into giving him more money or did he really owe bookie money

I don't know. None of us will ever be able to answer that question with 100% certainty but all the evidence points to that your friend was INDEED scamming you. Ask yourself this question: Does your "friend" have a long history of lying? I'm going to guess that he does. If you answered Yes, it's likely he is scamming you. Regardless of whether he was scamming you or not, your #1 priority should be to get that "friend" out of your life as soon as possible.

If you are SBR Pro no bookies will come after you for any reason. If you are not SBR Pro then I'd be very concerned.
