entered a plea agreement, deferred adjudication, and kept his fists clean (at least of camera) for the "probationary/community supervision" period, thus dismissed per the terms of the plea deal.....

Not sure if it would've made much of a difference but according to comments I read on another article, the DA is a former gang member who doesn't have a very good reputation for doing his job well. Whatever the reason though, this waste of flesh should've gone to jail.
