It's a trade off.
The better and higher paying jobs are up here (unless you own your own business)
But you pay for it with higher taxes ans ands shitty weather.

Nice to have seasons. Winter makes you appreciate spring, summer and fall more. I love fall, I don't think I could deal with not having fall. The northeast has excellent fall, leaves changing, apple cider donuts, football, you can't beat it. Best time of the year.

February, January and earlier march tend to suck. But that makes April and May better. Also makes you get the most out of June, July, August and earlier September.

Been to Florida, its great in December, probably sucks in August.
