E sports are growing rapidly not only with contestants but wagering too. Some universities actually offer scholarships for this including Utah, Cal Irvine and Robert Morris.

Yes they do & I thought a few years ago we would have seen it expand more so across universities.

I've always believed it would be useful to the military in finding those elite guys/gamers wIth the skills they could convert into operating high-tech weaponry & such.

Variety of things.

Used to be mainly sports games.

Gaming is actually how I found out at an early age I was a gambler.

My buddy and I collected Sports trading cards, and would put up our best ones against each other in Madden Football.

Then it turned into money.

Then it progressed to each picking teams & allowing the computer to play it out as we watched.

We would start the game, go to the store to get snacks, and be in anticipation to get back & see who's team was winning.

There were nighs we stayed up until sunrise gambling.

Still sounds like a good all nighter to me, dude. Get some drinks and pizza and shit haha. Back when I was in HS we'd play backyard football, then about 10 of us would play Madden afterward. Everyone would throw in $5 and we'd have a tourney. That didn't last long, though. It got to the point where we'd just play games, if I was up by 5 TD's at Half, it was a mercy. That was back when I was a top 20 Madden Player and #1 in the world for a while on NHL. Those were the days lol
