Weird finish. Penn up 74-70 loses to Yale with only 28 seconds by intentionally sending Yale to the FT line. They kept doing this despite being up 79-76 with 7 seconds left in the game.

#2Send them to the line instead of letting them attempt three pointer I would guess.Comment -

#3i'm sure they intentionally fouled
because they were up by 3-4 points and didn't want to let their opponents make a 3.
teams do that all the time. limit their ability to catch up, by not letting them maximize a possession.
what they didn't do intentionally i'm assuming is.... let Yale steal the ball with 3 secs left

#5Wait a minute, how did Penn turnover the ball with 3 seconds left and Yale was able to make a layup? Did it get intercepted on the inbound?
This is why I favor throwing the ball toward your own basket. If the other team intercepts they are very unlikely to dribble all the way back to their end of the court and get a score. Yes, it's possible but not very likely.Comment
