I’ve been high on Miss State all year. They’re athletic and can switch on defense. The Weatherspoon brothers play with swagger. Ben Howland has done a really nice job with this program since being hired.
Right now the Bulldogs are sitting on the bubble. A win tonight would greatly help their resumé. Frankly I think they’re a tournament-caliber team but they just don’t have the strength of schedule. This is probably the deepest the SEC has been all year and they’ve fared quite well so far. The Vols are good, but I really don’t see much of a difference between these two squads so I’m going to ride the Bulldogs at home.
