Picked it out of a hat. Didn't put the eagles ( no repeat) or giants (rebuilding). So it was going to be a thread about the cowboys or skins.

I will say one thing the skins do have a mistake free guy playing qb now instead of cousins

I do? Smith is an upgrade over cousins. That is for sure. Cousins threw untimely picks. Smith doesn't turn the ball over.

I think it is possible Smith is an upgrade... but not a big one if at all. Time will tell.

Seems more like a lateral move to me. Skins were simply determined to not sign Cousins to a big contract... and in doing so they made him a very wealthy man lol

Giants are most certainly not rebuilding
We have a rare case of a 10-12 win team with a number 2 draft pick

Injuries and bad coaching were the faults of the gmen last year

They will be a playoff team for sure this year maybe not won the NFC east but should at least sneak a wild card

HUGE advantage for the GMEN to have the #2 pick PLUS the last place schedule....was baffled by their choice in head coach so not sure there's an upgrade there......completely disagree about philly being a one year wonder but true no team has repeated as East champ in some time......lots of time for things to go wrong with every team

Cousins didn’t throw many interceptions. Alex Smith had much better weapons in KC. Either way they’re a .500 squad every year.

Do we have divisional odds out yet anywhere? I would have to imagine that the Eagles are going to be heavy favorites with the Cowboys 2nd favorite and having basically no value. So from a betting value perspective, the teams to bet would be the Skins or G Men. The NFC East schedule is absolutely brutal this year and the Eagles have the worst of it. That can create a lot of volatility which is a good environment for betting + odds teams.

one could argue what weapons did Cousins have?

Smith rarely threw the ball down field & doesn’t take chances. I don’t see this ending well for Washington. Doubt they will run a Andy Reid offense. Mediocre QB’s do well in that system.
