Lightning going hard after Erik Karlsson. If they get him, watch out. Him and Hedman on the same team would make the Bolts clear favorite. Ottawa has given up asking for Point or Sergachev. Well, Ottawa for sure is asking for an arm and a leg. Or was. But they know they are in a rebuilding mode and Karlsson is too expensive to resign. So they have come down a lot. It's gonna come to : "get the best deal" we can get by getting rid of Ryan, who's making a ton of money and playing like crap. Assuming Karlsson's suitors have to be all contenders ( because they will be renting him anyway) they know nobody wants to give them a proven player. Otherwise it will be like going sideways. I know Tampa won't part ways with any of their core players. I heard Colorado might get involved in a three way deal to help them unload Ryan and put him on waivers, to get something.
