I don't look at it that way. $200 or so no biggie. Then you have bets at the end of the year all of the sudden that are already paid for.

if you're rolling over your entire roll every 2 weeks and you're putting a signficant % of your money on these futures, then yeah, that's a "dumb" bet. But if you're rolling over your stack in 2 weeks of bets (assuming you're not making 200 bets a week), you're already going to go broke, so might as well let it ride for 8 months.
