Typical paid athlete that gets alot of money at an early age and then it's GONE and they are flat broke later on in life living in a small apartment!!! Same old story...

I will say he was smart for buying real estate but for him to say the recession made him lose it all is a load of crap.. I went thru that same recession owning the real estate I have today, the only difference between me and Mr. Walker is I didn't borrow and leverage the crap out my real estate and have to sell it or get it repo'd by the banks because I couldn't make the large mortgage payments during the peak of the hard times...

Athletes should listen to their financial advisors.. Invest in other things beside fancy homes, cars and jewellery that don't bring in an income but actually lose their value over time..
