Too top-heavy with Mookie and Sale IMO. Not sold on David Price ever. Mookie pretty much led the team in everything last year. If he falls off or gets injured, that's a ton of production you won't be getting. Sale has been stupid durable considering his motion and lankyness. Something is bound to give.

TB is getting better and better. TOR should rebound some. That collapse was weird.

I just think a lot has to go really right for BOS to touch 90 again. Any setback, especially with those two could ruin the over before it even starts. JD was a nice hedge, but may not be enough there.

I tend to think they are very balanced in a lot of areas

A lot went wrong last year and they still went over the total

Thornburg and Carson Smith back in bullpen this year after

missing all of last year . They are 2 of the top 20 relievers on all of baseball

and they got zero production from them

Price arm feels perfect he said , and now they go into the season

knowing what their starters are going to be

1.Sale
2.Price
3.Pomeranz
4.Porcello
5.E Rodriguez (hell of a fifth starter)

Lineup is so balanced , even without Pedroia

1. Betts ( semi off year last year and still productive as hell , crazy on base paths too)

2. Nunez (until Pedroia returns) always been a tough out and was having breakout season last year

3. Benetendi (swing as sweet as Griffey Jr,bulked up in offseason , chance for ROY if not for Judge)

4. J.D Martinez(gr8 offensive player and gives them the power that they need, insane power at that)

5. Hanley Ramirez (its still Hanley guys,don’t forget what he’s done and still young enough)

6.Bogearts (good batting average and RBI guy who steals bases very efficiently)

7. Devers (good prospect, came thru in the clutch for them a lot last year in short sample size)

8.Jackie Bradley Jr( respectable 8th place hotter who is capable of jacking 25 homers)

9.Vazquez (catcher that hit .290 for them last year )


there are 4 guys , possibly 5 with speed there and can steal and won’t clog up bases

Great defensive players in all positions since JD Martinez will DH

and Mooreland will man first with Hanley(first base isn’t hard to play adequately)

and Mooreland is actually a gold Glover .

There bench is decent enough and they they have a dominating closer

A lot went wrong for the Red Sox last year , trust me I followed them every game

and they still prevailed.This year they have some elite bullpen arms coming back

as well as coming up prospects for bullpen to that are highly touted and will help right away

Rays aren’t getting better imo , and Keirmeyers opinion either since the CF just publicly

snapped on the front office for giving away players . Their starting pitching is solid though

Orioles gave up the 2nd most runs in AL behind Tigers and have done itching to get better

on the pitching side of things coming into this year. Blue Jays are decent enough but will

start a fire sale if and when ipnot in contention at halfway mark , then you got the Yanks

yeah they will be tough ....but if they can just split the games with yanks they should

easily outplay the rest of the division . They are a mixture of batting average

pop, steals, and more than capable defense with a closer that loves to miss bats

Price is now more comfortable with another year, Sale too

JD Martinez changes so much for this team ..... he gives them so much more length

in every aspect of the game to fight in a long grinding 162 game season

To me ,there is no reason to think they can’t go at least 46-35 in the first

and 2nd halves of the season next year and finish with a 92 to 95 win campaign

No player for any team that could of attained a player that fits what they need more then he does in all cylinders
And look up how good Carson Smith and Thornburg are .... dead seriously at least 2 of top 25

in crucial areas going into this season compared to last season
and if I liked there total of over 92 last year then of course I’ll like 90.5 or 91
