For example, if you wager $50 on a team -4, and the line/number changes to -4.5, you SHOULD be allowed to place another $50 on the same game.

You don't need the line to change... most books just make you wait 60 seconds to double up

And some will void the wagers that exceed your limit.

how this "If my maximum bet amount is limited to 50$ will bookies allow me to place two or more same bets for 50$?"
                and then this "
                What are lines?"
                I see no correlation

5Dimes. If you are limited to $50 at 5Dimes you can bet another $50 usually within a few minutes after placing your first bet. However, most of the time the line(price) will have changed but sometimes it does not. Other Books such as... Bovada, BetPhoenix, DSI, and many others won't let you bet anymore once you have reached your limit. What Books are you talking about specifically?

Can you please explain in a little more detail what are lines? Is that a second term for the odds?

Yes. The line is simply the Price. It's also extremely important to know what a Line's break even point is. For instance, at -110 you must win 52.38% of your bets just to break even.

Do those bookmakers which don't allow more than one maximum bet allow you to place bets and notify you afterwards or do they give you an error saying something like you have exceeded your limit? Please don't answer if you are not 100 percent certain about your answer!

The only Book that I am aware of that will let me make another bet on the same play after I have reached my limit is 5Dimes and that's usually after they have increased the price. There very well may be many other books that do the same thing. However, most of the books that put limits on you will just give you a message saying something like "You have exceeded your limit for this wager" or something like that. It's impossible for me to be 100% because I don't play at every book. I can only give you information about the books that I play at. Also, if you are new to Sportsbetting... and you appear to be... why is this type of information so important to you? Is it in hopes of finding Scalp/Arbitrage situations? If you tell me why this information is so important to you it might help me provide you with a better answer. Also... Books are MUCH quicker to limit you on certain types of bets than they are with others. If all you are betting is Against the Spread type of bets you probably won't have to worry about limits... at least not for a while.

Don't worry, these Americans don't realize how much of their gambling jargon is not used in some countries.

He's just saying if you make a bet and the odds or handicap change, you can make another.

But it's not really as simple as that.

Especially if you have been limited to $50.

You need to ask the book if you do not want to post the name here.

He's just saying if you make a bet and the odds or handicap change, you can make another.

But it's not really as simple as that.

Especially if you have been limited to $50.

You need to ask the book if you do not want to post the name here.
What do I need to ask the book? I don't understand?
