The New look Cleveland Cavaliers vs. the Boston Celtics, Thoughts ?
George Hill, Jordan Clarkson, Larry Nance Jr. and Rodney Hood all should play today

    Line opened Boston -4.5
with the total opening at 212

everything from -4.5 to -5.5 out there now
total is up from 212.5 and a couple of 213's

If anything Boston 1h, the additions are actually better quality for lebron than he has had in awhile

Haven't checked the ref crew yet but maybe a small gamble on the under due to chemistry issues?

Boston seems to be dragging lately, relying on second half surges to bail out flat 1st halves

A bet on Cleveland would be based on energy - motivation of the new players? There is nothing scientific about this - totally a guess - nothing to base this on. What if we watch the first quarter first. LeBron might even play team ball today and realize today is about the new guys and not him?

normally I would say it's all about Lebron, but he did have a career high 19 assists in his last game ( without the new players )
you might might be on to something

No play. It could go on either direction. The new-look Cavs could rally around LeBron to cover or maybe even win this one outright. The Celtics are bored and used to flicking a switch in the second half to grind out a win. BUT then again, they might be motivated to crush LeBron when they're at a vulnerable spot, just to show them who's boss in the East.

In the long run there's no way the deadline moves help the Cavs. It's basically 'LeBron vs the world' type of basketball and it may work in the short term but there's no way it works in the playoffs. Cavs will be lucky to make the conference finals, much less the NBA Finals.

Until we see these guys play as a group, we're just guessing. There's better plays out there.

Pistons -4 makes a lot more sense to me.

                    Under 213

The Cavaliers will need time for this unit to mesh offensively, but they should be an instant upgrade defensively, and of course Boston loves playing low, defensive games, especially at home. I think there's value in the total with people still mostly guessing on Cleveland right now.
