don't even really think age matters, these top level QB's have these teams by the balls, they have no choice as Rodgers can EASILY afford to hold out a season whereas teams cannot.

this just shows how crucial and rare good qb's are... even if you are only semi sure you have something, you have to fork out big $$$$. If I think I heard like only 75 million is guaranteed . As a niner fan I can say I hope they pay out the full contract.

It's all about expectations... and you have to admit that Jimmy stepped up late in the season when he really needed to sell himself. The man got it done... so now he gets paid. That is the way it works

Lol these starting qbs get paid enough to live anywhere cost of living is irrelevant. Tax free states might impact a deal but not housing costs. Ryan and rodgers will get bigger deals even though niners paid too much. Hope jimmy g is real deal
