Stipe is super underrated but nothing against DC is a given. If he had Jon Jones reach he would’ve beaten a juiced up jones and never had a loss on his record.

I would really like to see a super energized DC that didn't have to worry at all about making weight.

Only time he got KO'd was from a crazy head kick from JJ, and we won't see anything like that in this fight.

DC is too small to beat elite heavyweights. Not saying he can't win, just if they fought 100 times miocic wins most of the time. If I had to bet it would be Miocic. He has a bit better striking. Stronger, longer, bigger and moves a little better. DC will just walk forward and and that won't work against Miocic. He can't dominate or finish him with wrestling. He's too big and good in that area I'm not betting it. Just gonna enjoy the fight

You realize DC out-wrestled much bigger guys than Stipe in the UFC already before right? Not saying it happens here because he's much older and much more shop worn but just saying

DC will probably weigh in at 235ish I'm guessing. He probably walks around near that. Not a big heavyweight, but not too small to go in and beat Stipe.

I like Stipe's gas tank and chin here. He's proven both over and over again. He can take DC's best shot standing for sure IMO and force DC to win rounds to beat him which will be tough. I think Stipe's boxing improvements will be on display here and he'll be able to counter DC's overhands to get into the pocket. Stipe by decision would be interesting

dc was throwing guys around like a rag doll when he was in hw division. stipe makes no difference for him. also, stipe's ground game is pretty weak, only looks good against guys like ngannou and hunt

Not really. One guy basically. Barnett. He didn't finish Mir, Barnett or Nelson. In fact he was extremely cautious with those guys. He did finish big, dumb slow as f&ck Silva. Whoppee. Miocic is faster and a better grappler than any of those guys. Mir better on the ground but too slow to stop a takedown or strike to stop one. He has never faced a guy as well rounded , fast and big as Miocic. Jones is the closest thing. And we know what happened there

A bunch of cans. He did little to nothing against Mir and Nelson on the feet. He is not just gonna take down and handle Miocic. This will be a mostly standup fight with a bigger, longer, stronger and even faster guy than DC. I'm not saying he has no shot. Be he will most likey lose. This isn't wrestling.

Seems like these kind of fights the guy everyone wants to see his head get knocked off wins somehow. I might take a shot at Coby. His win over Mia was pretty impressive. Sometimes u never know what Dos Anjos u are going to get. On paper i like Dos Angos but for some strange reason i see Coby pulling this out.

It was painful watching Stipe lean on FN when he could have unloaded on him dozens of times...shouldn't have gone to decision.

If Stipe doesn't finish Cormier he's losing.
