butler must have broken some team rules missed some meetings but still bench a guy in the biggest game makes no sense especially since butler will be gone next year anyways maybe for bill it's better to lose with principle than win with somebody who broke team rules

Clarification/Update: Malcom Butler missed initial flight from Boston to Minneapolis. Arrived to team hotel intoxicated after curfew twice. During room evaluation (Thurs) he was caught smoking marijuana. Missed Saturday morning team meeting.

Malcolm Butler released a statement via social media denying any wrongdoing according to the reported rumors he was smoking up and violated curfew. After reading all that he wrote, I don’t think he did any of that. But whatever he did was probably worse. My only guess now is that he was sleeping with the enemy. Betrayal cuts the deepest.
