Yes it wasnt a slow roll at all. You showed your hand and he can just muck his hand if you hit the queen on the turn or river.

Also, you should never have shown your hand. He had to show his hand first before getting paid since you called his all in.


IN my 2/5 game, hardly anyone tables their cards until after the river. You should never give up information about your hand unless you have too. No one on the table needed to know that you had pocket queens and they still shouldnt know it since you lost

I've risen to chip leader and the final table many times without mucking at all. I've learned to turn it to my advantage and works best when I get good cards in certain situations.
