Seen his shows several times. But now that he's in his 70's, I think I'll pass.

I ain't paying $250 to help the old fart's retirement fund ...like it is not funded high enough ! She's got money more than God.
Just got Def Leppard / Journey tickets though ... I know, I know ...

Goodbye yellow brick road..
I saw him not to long ago at a high end bar/restaurant in Brentwood, Ca, just off San Vicente BLVD and 26th Street about a year ago..
Blake Griffin and a date were eating dinner right behind the bar where Elton John was sitting. I just happen to be there that night with a few buddies. Blake had to take a double look at me to see if a was a baller, 6'6" 240... Elton was just chilling and drinking some fruity cocktail alone and getting no attention...
True story I kid you not...
Sure enough though he was wearing a colorful suit.. This wasn't a gay bar either just for the record. He did look old though...

Bet should be does he finish the tour before dying or not? David Bowie's last tour pretty much wore him down and killed him shortly after..
Touring is taxing on older musicians.. Wonder if he needs the money?

For every cigarette you smoke, God takes an hour away from your life and gives it to Keith Richards.

I really want to go but if his tickets are $300 in the US then they'll be like $3k here. Stuff that! I do wish I'd seen him and Billy Joel together though. I always regret that.

Saw Elton John with my wife at Caesars Palace in 2016. Was a great concert, over 2 hours. Tickets were under $100 each, probably wouldn't pay over $200 or whatever high price they charge for his farewell tours.

Pretty sure he shoots at both baskets
