Bruno Mars is the Next Prince

Prince and Bruno Mars are similar in many respects. They are both infinitely gifted musicians/entertainers. I think Bruno Mars is already on par with Prince, and he is young and healthy and has decades to go. Same way I thought about Tom Brady 8+ years ago. So likely Bruno Mars will be the GOAT before all is said and done.

They both write great music, not just for themselves but for the entire industry. I don't think that Bruno Mars will ever have the guitar chops that Prince had (Prince is arguably one of the five best guitarists to ever set foot on stage). But Bruno Mars seems to be far more grounded, connected to real people. Bruno is always having fun. Great sense of humor. I just like him more.

Bruno is far less likely to fall into a pit of isolationism and do heavy drugs. Bruno gets my vote, but they are both freaking awesome.
